What is going on in our skies?
Please read the information below to become informed about certain disturbing atmospheric
phenomena currently being seen regularly in Nelson skies, as well as over many other parts
of New Zealand and globally. The purpose of this fact sheet is to bring to public attention the
following subjects:
‘Persistent contrails’ vs normal aircraft vapour trails, climate change and global warming,
stratospheric aerosol geoengineering, (popularly known as chemtrails) weather modification,
Solar Radiation Management, human health & environmental effects from these activities.
Have you noticed aircraft leaving long white plumes in the sky that do not evaporate in a short time, like
aircraft vapour trails or ‘contrails’ should do under normal atmospheric conditions?
Have you noticed the unusually hazy milky-looking sky, rather than a deep natural blue, bizarre shaped cloud
patterns, vertical rainbows, a thick haze that is regularly partly obscuring the clear view of the hills and horizon?
Have you noticed the increased incidence of flu-like symptoms, respiratory problems, ‘brain fog’, memory
lapses, headaches, tiredness and unusual metallic tastes in the air, reduced and unusually diseased crop yields?
It is the contention of this fact sheet, based on the visual and other sensory evidence described above, and data
available from a very large selection of websites, that these phenomena are occurring as part of a global agenda to
deliberately add chemical and metallic particulate matter into the upper atmosphere of the planet.
The suspected motivation and purposes behind these apparent activities in our skies, and their consequences for
the environment will be examined briefly, with web links for online research for those who wish to understand these
agendas in more detail. It is hoped that greater public awareness and action will lead to an admission of truth from
those officials in the New Zealand government who are currently denying the reality of these operations.
How are ‘persistent’ aircraft trails in the skies different from normal vapour trails?
At altitudes above 34,000 feet, being normal flight altitude, regular ‘contrails’ are quickly evaporated into the dry
atmosphere. The so-called ‘persistent contrails’ need cold air and humidity. If they form at all, the duration depends
on the moisture content of the air. If the air is humid, ice crystals tend to linger. But if the air is dry, they are quickly
absorbed and dissipated. The conditions that must exist for contrails to linger over long distances are;
(1) The air must be below freezing, and (2) it must be humid. Air at high altitudes is called thin because it exists
under much less pressure than at low altitudes. It cannot hold as much moisture, and so higher altitudes are dryer
than lower ones. Although some clouds may exist for short periods of time at 27,000 feet or even 30,000, that is
rare. Most of them are below that level.
Therefore, given the above facts on vapour trail formation, the observed trails of concern that appear at high
altitudes and are regularly seen to go from horizon to horizon, must logically be an entirely different phenomenon.
It is proposed that these phenomena are occurring as part of an attempt to counteract the effects of climate change
and so-called ‘global warming’, which is currently being made the subject of much politically-motivated media
coverage. Powerful groups such as the United Nations Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change have put
forward dire environmental predictions, in case nothing is done to avert current global trends.
There are several other possible motivations for the observed aerial phenomenon, which individual research may
uncover, but space restriction in this brief introduction will allow only a review of the most obvious connections, in
light of the present alarmist scenarios being proposed for future environmental changes.
There are several methods being proposed to counteract
climate change consequences, all of which fall under the
general title of ‘Geoengineering’ or Environmental
Modification. The use of atmospheric aerosols or
Stratospheric Aerosol Geoengineering (SAG) is a term
being used to define one method of counteracting the
effects. The rationale, very simply, is that the injection into
the atmosphere of reflective nano-size particulates (the
most favoured being aluminium) will assists in deflecting
sunlight back into space, thereby offsetting the increasing
temperature of the planet. This increase is being said to be
due to the build up of CO2 from human industrial
processes, which is resulting in the ‘greenhouse effect’.
However, a lot of counter-evidence now emerging
which shows that ‘anthropogenic’ or human-induced
climate change has been deliberately over-emphasised
by selective omission of contrary data, for political

Geoengineering is defined as planetary-scale
environmental engineering of the atmosphere, the
weather, the oceans, and the Earth itself. The two
main categories of geoengineering are Carbon
Dioxide Removal (ocean fertilization) and Solar
Radiation Management (aerosol spraying or
‘chemtrails’ and cloud seeding).
The methods may now be used without public
oversight, debate, prior public notification, or any
research into their long term effect on the planet, the
climate and the people. Professor David Keith, a
world-recognized geoengineering scientist, when
asked about dumping ten million megatons of
aluminium and heavy metals into the atmosphere, said:
"We don't know yet about any harmful side effects.
We're taking our chances for possible good results. One
might say that we're 'free-riding' on the future health of

One possible intention behind these spraying operations and CO2 removal is to drive and justify a carbon tax
which will fund many private corporations who will engage in a myriad of geoengineering schemes and make
huge sums of money under government contracts, all on the basis of politically biased scientific climate modelling.
What are the consequences of deploying Solar Radiation Management?
The unknown effect on the atmosphere; increasing the atmospheric ozone depletion may eventually cause an
increase in the earth’s temperature. SRM is an experiment that will only ‘mask’ the temperature of global warming;
this is not a fix. Once started it cannot be stopped, as the warming it masks will then show up immediately and fast.
The water vapour, sulphur or aluminium used to make small particles in the atmosphere will need to be used
continuously, as the particles will fall back to Earth on a constant basis, polluting air, water, soils, causing acid rain
and other problems. They are toxic to humans, marine mammals, oceans, fish, wildlife, food pollinators, and birds.
Since SRM practices began, heavy-metal based diseases like Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, auto-immune
diseases and cancers have risen dramatically. As well as human health impacts, NASA research studies show
‘man-made clouds’ are trapping warmth in the atmosphere and actually exacerbating global warming.
Any change in global cloud cover may contribute to long-term changes in the Earth’s climate. SRM could
decrease rainfall in many parts of the world, studies have shown. It is high risk, and aims to reduce the earth’s
temperature by reflecting the sun’s rays back into space by spraying a mixture that forms artificial clouds which
then form a barrier between the sun and the earth.
